Mrs Ann Clausen
As a bilingual English and Spanish speaker, I absolutely love the privilege of teaching Spanish, a beautifully expressive yet contemporary language. Primary aged children are always so keen to learn and express themselves in a new language and the children at Magna Carta are a wonderful example of this. My route in to teaching has been a long and meandering one, as I initially worked in the advertising industry, first in Latin America then in London, for well over a decade. I then went on to undertake a degree, along with full time parenting. Eventually however, I was able to enrol on a teacher training course, which had been my long term objective despite appearances to the contrary by doing anything but work, study and family life. It proved to be the right path to take and I am reminded by that each day I teach the children.
